Report comments without pupil PII in the chat
Draft 3–4 sentence comments from anonymised strengths/next steps; paste names only in your SIS.
Problem
Pasting real names, IDs, or sensitive notes into AI tools is a privacy risk. Reports still need clear, kind, specific language.
Who it is for
Teachers writing English report comments who must keep pupil personal data out of chatbot chats.
Steps
- In a private note, list anonymised bullets: strength, next step, engagement — use codes like Pupil A, not real names.
- Ask the AI for a 3–4 sentence comment from those bullets only.
- Edit for accuracy and school tone.
- Paste the final text into your SIS/report system and add the real name there only.
- Never upload IEPs, health notes, or photos to the chat.
